Ridgewood is a mid-sized neighborhood just north of Greensboro city limits in Guilford County. Although Greensboro is listed as its city, Ridgewood is more closely located near the town of Summerfield, which surrounds the neighborhood on three sides.

Ridgewood is home to the Ridgewood Swim and Tennis Club. The pool features two water fountains in the shallow area, a water slide and two diving boards. The full-service clubhouse has locker rooms with private showers, lockers and a steam room. There is also a weight room, an aerobics room and a cardio room. The main floor of the clubhouse has a snack bar with dine-in seating, porches with rocking chairs and a professionally decorated lounge area with a large television. There are five lighted clay tennis courts and tennis pros on-site so you can learn to play or perfect your serve.
Ridgewood is just minutes from restaurants, stores and the Lake Brandt Watershed Park. Lake Brandt has boat rentals, boat ramps and miles and miles of trails for hiking, biking and running.
