Natural Science Center
The Natural Science Center, located at 4301 Lawndale Drive in Greensboro, is a must-see attraction for anyone with children.
The science center offers a multitude of hands-on learning activities, such as the Dinosaur Gallery and Kids Alley. Throughout the day, live shows are scheduled, including our favorite, "Meal or No Meal", which gives visitors the opportunity to learn more about animal diets in a game show format.
The most popular attraction at the science center is Animal Discovery, the brand-new zoo which is located behind the museum. The meerkats are adorable, the tortoises are huge and the tigers are ferocious! There is also a building dedicated to small animals, where you can pet a snake or a rabbit, plus much more.
The Natural Science Center offers summer camps and birthday parties. You can pay for admission each time you go or purchase an annual membership, which will allow you free admission for one year. This membership also includes reciprocal admission to over 300 science museums nationwide.
