Greensboro Day School
Greensboro Day School is located on Lawndale Drive at Lake Brandt Road and was founded in 1970. It is an independent school with approximately 900 students in grades pre-K through 12.
It has a lovely 65-acre campus with a full-sized gymnasium, outdoor track and a 600-seat performing arts theatre. The facilities also include 2 libraries, 9 science labs, 10 tennis courts and 61 classrooms. The school offers 18 Advanced Placement classes and 100% of their students are accepted into colleges. GDS has 40 sports teams and provides an opportunity for all high school students to participate in extended service projects. All middle school and high school students are issued a laptop. Tuition ranges from $8,000-$18,450 per year.
