Ed McKay Used Books
Ed McKay Used Books is a hidden treasure in Greensboro but well-known by most locals. The store moved to its current location a few years ago and now has over 10,000 square feet of retail space. You can find a huge, eclectic selection of books, movies and music. It is also a popular source of textbooks for students from the four local universities and the technical colleges.
You can either make your purchases with cash or use a store credit. You earn store credits by taking in books, movies and music that you no longer want. You can take in books that you have already read and walk out with new selections no cost. We are particularly fond of the large childrens section.
